Fly Fishing Cotswolds

Hi!

I will be in the Cotswolds in the last week of February and wondered if anyone had any tips for guides or good places to fish?

Hi Barry

I’ve not much good news for you I’m afraid. We’ve had a serious amount of rain this winter that has just about written off the grayling season with another lashing over the last two days. Also, we are getting to the end of the season.

If you want to take your chances, this is as good a place to start as any. I know Andy and Roger very well and they will see you right:

Andy does a fair bit of pike fishing which may be an option, the stillwaters at Lechlade and Bushyleaze are a good alternative but you may have to find a home for any stocked fish you catch:
